Testing new Technologies with Mozheart™ Lab
Mozheart™ Lab is for testing new technologies in a real physical environment, that can either be indoor or outdoor. Mozheart™ Lab is also for testing the integration of different products into a single solution. Examples of equipments to be tested and integrated include and not limited to: power, telecommunication systems, lighting, audio, surveillance cameras and sensors (e.g. for presence detection, noise detection, air quality), water pump, etc.
Mozheart™ Lab is a fully customizable sculpture made of steel. It comes in two versions. Mozheart™ Lab 1 is a single module laboratory. Mozheart™ Lab 2 is a two module laboratory. Where and how to install new technologies in these laboratories? Each equipment to be integrated is to be placed in the sculpture at the right location.

Anatomy Of Mozheart Lab 1
Here below is a diagram that shows the different zones where equipment can be placed in Mozheart™ Lab 1. At the left of the Figure is shown a silhouette of Mozheart Lab 1. At the right of the Figure, the different zones where equipment can be placed is being shown. Note that the measures provided on the right can be adapted if needed, the sculpture being fully scalable. Here are the different zones and some observation on each of them:
- Core zone ( 8" x 8" x 6" ): this volume is inside the sculpture. A front door and a rear door can be removed from the sculpture in order to access this zone and install equipment inside. Once doors are placed back, all equipments in the core zone can't be seen from the outside. Note that this zone is not totally closed. This is particularly useful for the wiring and for the ventilation.
- Roof ( 8" x 8" x 1" ): this is above the Core zone. It is accessible from the top (just like the roof of a house). Equipments placed there are hidden when looking to the sculpture on the side. But they are visible from the top. For example a solar panel can be placed there.
- Top: this zone is partially visible depending on the view point.
- Ceiling ( 8" x 8" x 1" ): this is below the Core zone. It is accessible from the ground. Equipments placed there are hidden when looking to the sculpture on the side. For example, one can attach cameras or other sensors to the ceiling.
- Bottom: this zone is partially visible depending on the view point.
Anatomy of Mozheart Lab 2
Here below is a diagram that shows the different zones where equipment can be placed in Mozheart™ Lab 2. At the left of the Figure is shown a silhouette of Mozheart™ Lab 2. At the right of the Figure, the different zones where equipment can be placed is being shown. The zones are the same than in Mozheart™ Lab 1 except that the sculpture now consists of two modules being placed on top of each other. Note that between the two levels, there is a zone named the conduit. This zone is inside the sculpture and allows wiring between the two levels not to visible from the outside.
